Class Christmas parties

Kassidy's Class had "Christmas Around the World" reports and food for their Christmas party.
Her Country...was the United States......she wanted to bring gingerbread cookies for the party and her partner brought popcorn.

She was wearing a lovely dress ....but wouldn't take the snowpants off...silly girl.

Story time in Derrick's class and some coloring pages.
After lunch...I was going to head home with the tired Clara...but Derrick wanted to come
also.....after lots of talking with him...he ended up coming home with me(it was a short day)
and missing his party.  He's a funny one...if I hang out at school to long...he wants to leave
when I do.

Kolby was busy in his Class watching Cars2 and eating popcorn...so we didn't interrupt with pictures.

Full moon Friday night

Saturday morning at 6:45ish we saw the Lunar Eclipse....pretty neat...the kids didn't "get" how cool this was to see.  We saw it in the Northwestern sky just as the sun was peeking on the top of the hills.  Pretty neat ;)

Christmas Tree Hunt

Every year we get together with some friends to go out and "hunt" trees.

Clara found snow to eat!

This is the one...

teamwork carrying one of the trees back

Chamberlin Christmas Tree

Why is it...no matter what...kids find the only mud around ;)

Lunchtime
9 kids, 6 adults, cold fingers & noses, cocoa, hot dogs& brats, Christmas trees & sunshine.....Priceless!

All shined up!

2nd grade Thanksgiving Play

The 2nd grade every year does a big study on pligrims/native americans and even make a long house in their classroom...all leading up to their big play.  They all did so well!

Kassidy's parts=A pligrim and William Bradford

coming over on the boats

everyone crammed on the Mayflower...some got sick you know

Talking with Squanto

Here is a short clip of one of their songs.

Haircuts

I got my hair cut the other day and so that night...the rest of the family got a hair cut too....all the boys really needed one....but then came the girls....

Clara's first haircut

Before & After(just a little snip)

Kassidy has wanted her hair cut for a very long time...and I just trim it...but this time....I said o.k...
but not too her shoulders like she wanted:) She likes it so much!

Thanksgiving

We went to my parent's house for Thanksgiving this year.  My sister, Aunt Rita & Uncle Ken, cousin Amy were also there....and we got a special Skype call from Dan....as he was in Cambodia.  So neat and wierd all at the same time to talk and see someone so far away!

Everyone look at the camera- smile- and stop wiggling..oh remember no silly faces....1,2,3....click...

Clara oh so tall with Aunt Lindsey

Novemberness

Tom is in a LIA class (Leadership in Idaho Agriculture) it's a pretty honored thing.  He's been nominated the last few years...but never did it...so he's in it this year.  Starting in November....they are at a week long class each month until February when they graduate from the class.  They have to dress up more than Tom's used to...so we did some suit shopping. We miss him lots when he's gone..but we are proud of him ;)

A pre-Thanksgiving visit from Tom's parents = new jammies!  Thanks!!

First snow...and Clara's already eating it!
It has since all melted and we have NONE...which is nice for driving...but not fun for "getting in the Christmas mood."

Clara loves her baby dolls...and...keeps them well fed...look at that spread she made!

Love to find the kids playing nicely together!!
