An "AHHHH" Moment

we have right around 25-30 chickens now.....Black Sexlinks and Rhode Island Reds

WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!! is what I said OUTLOUD
as I walked into the chicken house one afternoon to do the "chicken chores"

The other chickens were wondering the same thing ;)  
After Wondering ALL afternoon how in the world it got there....I found out
that it was TOM who added this chicken to our "flock" or whatever you call it ;)
I guess this chicken was hanging around the Primeland Office in Moscow a couple days...so
yep...Tom decided he should bring it home (and "forget" to tell me)

Good Job 2nd Graders!!  They did so well, no band or even their teacher, just their little voices filling the gym with the Anthem they'd practiced alot!  Very well done ;)

That was the end of January...it flew by...oh that's right I was sick for 1/2 of it....urg!  Now to catch up with February before it's over ;)

what is this!!  Like the 3rd time I drive the "new-to-us" suburban and look what happens...atleast I was back home safe and sound in the driveway when I found someone's broken chain piece in my tire!

She was so quiet one day...and I found her quietly reading books ;)

So after my last post ..a month ago...this HOUSE has been sick!!  I started with getting strep throat and was out of work for a week.  Thankfully Tom could juggle his work schedule around to help get kids where they needed to be and when and also take care of Clara so I could recover!  Then we hung in there for about 2 weeks with 1 ear infection and some sniffles and coughs...then BAM!  3 kids in 3 days got strep throat....AHHH....and Tom had meetings all week....so I called in Nana Sharon for back up!  She was able to tend to my sick kiddos so I could work...SO VERY THANKFUL for her to be able to do that!  She then went home and we started last week as a "normal" week...everyone was finally able to go back to school...still Tom and "Typhoid Mary"aka Kassidy (as nana called her) have never shown any sickness signs--yeah!  Well then Thursday the 16th...I felt achy and had a sore throat...so Friday morning I jumped in the car and headed to QuickCare in Moscow.....hoping they'd say "Oh, you just have a cold, go home and rest."  NO---They said "Go home and rest, you have Strep again."  ARE YOU KIDD'N ME?  So back on Medicine I am.....UGH!!!  BUT....I'm thinking everyone is feeling pretty good.....and so maybe I can get back on track with the blogs! ;) More to come!  Stay healthy!
