Yeah Spring!

Even though it is very chilly outside- These are a nice reminder that -YES it really is Springtime and that only means that warmer weather will come..cause we have to have summer before fall....that is how God made it!

Soccer Season Has Begun

Soccer season here in Troy started ;)  Kolby and Kassidy are on the Black Team
The team shirts didn't make it in time for the first game...so maybe tonight they will get the shirts.
They have games every Tues. and Thursday for the next 5 weeks and then they are done.
They have no extra practices...which is nice!!
Kolby just had to wear shorts...but after the first half...he put on his sweatshirt and sweats...
cause you know..here in N. Idaho we don't put our "winter clothes" away until June :) Ha - funny but True!

Grandpa Shopping

Grandpa was kind and watched the kiddos while we all were at Bloomsday(Tom had to work)
They went to "Big R" in search of some new shirts.....and only came back with one shirt and 3 hats..cause Derrick had one at home.....
The kids loved them and after the drive home...they ran in the house to get Derrick's hat and Kassidy even took her hat to bed ;)  They love them...Thanks Grandpa!

Kids with new hats and D.J.'s new orange shirt!
It had been a long day...so Kassidy was really not wanting to take these pictures.

Moose

We saw this mama moose and her yearling over Easter weekend...and then saw them again last week right across the highway from our house ....fun to watch ;)

Tom came home tonight in a rush to get a gun...cause sadly someone hit a moose just up the road from us...so sad...I asked if he thought it was "OUR MOOSE" and he said yeah cause there was another one close by....he said it was too dark and they are so big....so he couldn't quite tell if it was the mama or baby--He's thinking it's the mama though :(  He said it is a yearling calf...so it will be o.k. without it's mama....
Either way it is a sad thing....cause now the other one is left alone on this stormy night of wind, thunder & lightening, pouring rain/hail, and coldness :(
Sniffle, sniffle...in tribute to the moose...here is Clara and her excitement the other morning when we saw them out the window ;)

P.S. the people who hit it were o.k. and they were able to drive their car--funny thing...they were on their way into Moscow to drop it off at the shop to get a new windshield...and now they have a munched up hood and tweaked headlights to go along with that.  God timing :)

Happy Easter Pictures

Us Chamberlin's
 With Tom's parents
With Heather's parents and sister Lindsey (Dan had to work)

Easter fun

She managed to stay awake during church by shuffling between mom, both grandmas and Aunt Lindsey-
but now she's not too sure

Matching Easter Sisters

Looking for the Easter Bunny in all the "high" and low places.
After arriving at my Aunt's house, 10 of the "cousins of cousins" and a few adults, went to the school playground about a block away...in search of the Easter Bunny.  Clara wanted to be up on top of the climbing structure with my cousin....they didn't see any bunny though.  The rest of the "cousins of cousins" didn't see the bunny either. Note the walkie-talkie that Kolby is holding --that is our communication with the adults back at the house that are keeping watch out for this quick moving Easter Bunny.  They told us to hurry back...cause....yep the Easter Bunny- was there...they caught sight of him...he is purple, brown and white...he just left the yard--off we went back to the house.
We never caught sight of that quick moving Bunny...but he sure left lots of eggs to find...even some REAL ones....that none of the kids were really too impressed with ;)
