Fall
These crocuses show up every year...such a nice surprise in the beginning days of fall. And to think that my Great Aunt Elnora probably planted these how many years ago...

Tour de Grantparents Part 2
We got back on a Saturday night....tried but didn't make it to church Sunday. But we spent the day doing laundry and repacking so we could leave bright and early Monday morning. Then we headed up to the Boyd Grandparent's house. But first we met Grandma and went to Spokane to finish school shopping and visit Great Grandma Cline...then we headed to their house to have birthday dinner/cake for Grandma.

Every year since Kolby was a baby we go with mom and pick huckleberries....well we tried in our "huckleberry'n spot" and this is what we found...not a good year...for berries we hear....and this proved it.

Tour de Grandparents Part 1
Well it all started with a comment from the kids of never going to the grandparent's house...so 2 weeks before school started we headed out. Tom was busy with Harvest....so we couldn't wait around for him.....So...The kids and I loaded up the Suburban and even had their bikes hanging off the back and we took off on a 6 but really 7 hour drive to Richland, OR. I kept telling the kids that if Dad was with us we wouldn't of had so many potty stops....but we made it.
We had a great couple of days spent with the Chamberlin Grandparents. And the weather was great the whole time we were there--we just had missed all their terrible thunder/rain/hail storms.
