Tour de Grandparents Part 1

Well it all started with a comment from the kids of never going to the grandparent's house...so 2 weeks before school started we headed out. Tom was busy with Harvest....so we couldn't wait around for him.....So...The kids and I loaded up the Suburban and even had their bikes hanging off the back and we took off on a 6 but really 7 hour drive to Richland, OR. I kept telling the kids that if Dad was with us we wouldn't of had so many potty stops....but we made it.
We had a great couple of days spent with the Chamberlin Grandparents. And the weather was great the whole time we were there--we just had missed all their terrible thunder/rain/hail storms.

Trying to get the kid's picture in front of this beautiful patch of flowers in Great-Grandma's yard. I did get one of all of them looking at me...but I thought this one was classic :)

The kids were pretty proud of themselves of how they parked their bikes and worked together to all climb up on these Tall bails :) They had fun riding their bikes all around...and Kassidy was getting more confident with riding without training wheels (their yard area is much flatter than ours)
